The Daily Chat Wiki is a collaborative knowledge base dedicated to documenting ANYTHING related to the Daily Chat, no matter how tangential. The wiki was founded on April 24, 2023 by NotEthanHobbes. Being a wiki means that our articles can be edited by anyone (unless they're protected); just look for the "edit" button at the top of the page! Our wiki staff of administrators and patrollers help keep the site running smoothly and free of any vandalism. Whether you're happy simply reading, editing anonymously, or you'd like to join us and become an active member of the community, we're happy to have you here! Coverage

Chatters

Here, we only wish to cover, at the very least, semi-notable chatters. Examples of these include those like Wyvurn, Pinecones, StinkyBurger, DoctorJazz, and RealEddieSmith. You may be asking yourself "What IS a notable chatter, anyway?" right now. If so, good news. A notable chatter is one who is well-known amongst the community, be it for a good reason or a bad reason. If you wish to create an article for yourself, you have your user page right there. Full coverage.

Events

An event is a notable happening within the chat, obviously. Since most events are notable, your article will most likely be greenlit. Please do not wrongly categorize things, however. Full coverage.

Levels

You shouldn't create articles for every level made by every chatter that has an article on this wiki. Once more, we're only looking for things of note here. Full coverage.

Memes

Obviously the chat is going to bring some inside jokes with it too. Full coverage.

Cliques/Chats

"Wait, shouldn't this be in the Levels category?" Haha, no. While there is definitely some overlap, other chats are made in other places too. There are enough of these cases that it constitutes its own category. For chats like Tiki Chat and Pisb Chat who's members move between multiple levels after getting leaked, you will want to split these different levels up into different sections and describe what events took place in them. History

Fandom

The origins of the Daily Chat Wiki can be traced back to a project known as the DC Fandom Wiki, a wiki attempting to accomplish the same thing as this one. One of the main differences was that it was hosted on Fandom rather than Miraheze, and as such was littered with ads. Many articles are shitposts, and the original website is still up today.

Wickiepedia

Wickiepedia was a project NotEthanHobbes (then EthanHobbes) had created. The wiki was attempting to be a v2 of the previous wiki. The wiki was hosted on Fandom, and was advertised heavily by him. However, no one cared. The wiki was reinstated twice before the idea was shelved, until now.
